We tackle design challenges experienced by real users and ideate solutions that meet those needs. We adopt a hands-on approach, working towards a proof-of-concept alongside our partners.

We help shape ideas by rethinking construction methodologies. We provide solutions for soft goods, pattern drafting and sewing.

Cair Collective

Cair Collective was a thesis project by Claudia Poh (Werable’s founder) and Amy Yu Chen in 2018. Cair Collective provides a tech-assisted dressing experience that goes beyond a single user. Clothing items were designed to rise onto the body with built-in inflatable components hidden in the garments. The pair co-designed with Christina Mallon throughout the entire process, adapting to her needs as she lives independently without the use of her arms.
